Tbh mate I ain't that interested in international football. I hate the way wars are dragged into matches and the spitefulness of the media to certain players when they wanna scapegoat them pisses me off. But most of all, I can not stand ****ers who slag the players off but then jump on the bandwagon when the team do well...plenty did that this time round, claiming that they didn't blame fans booing players taking the knee cos they were dividing the country but by the quarter finals were saying the team were unifying the country...hypocritical twats imo.

Gutted for all the lads who missed their pens. Rashford’s was poor, the other two just got a bit unlucky. Donnaruma is a ****ing beast between the sticks so it was a big ask.

At least they had the balls to step up to plate though. But yeah, gutted for them

You could have said the same about Saka and I'd have said the same thing. Or Sancho.

There's only one person should be singled out for the ridiculous substitutions and penalty order.

And it's not 'the lads'.
 
If I was to look at why we didn’t win, I think the subs were wrong. We needed more energy, perhaps Rashford and Sancho could have caused the back line more trouble than Saka and Henderson, I don’t think Rice deserved hooked tbh. Splitting hairs really though cos Southgate has been brilliant throughout.

Yep, the guy that sent the keeper the wrong way was poor but the ones that hit it where the keeper dived were unlucky <laugh>
 
Nice to see most of the squad take their silver medals off as soon as they left the podium, a good sign that they are not happy and want to do better.
