Honestly, there's nothing any English person could say or do to make that any better or worse. Scots hate England because Scotland are essentially a bit rubbish and being ABE keeps you in tournaments longer. Though often not much longer.
I've got Scots in my family and used to want them to do well (96, 98, etc) but decades of them being utter, unnecessary c8nts wares you down. I now nothing them, they're as much interest to me as Finland or Slovenia.
Not seen anything from Italy that worries me tbh, if Southgate has their mentality right we'll be champions of Europe.

IF we make the final, I fancy our chances against Italy. I think Spain would have just worn us down like deluded donkies - Italy are far better quality but one that I think Southgate could master. We just don't want to get sucked in like Spain did, otherwise it mounts to lots of possession and energy spent achieving nothing, which is what Spain did most the tournament, with the exception of probably one game.
