Watching Spain might look boring to some people but I do love their elegance, speed, passing, class ... and the Improbability of losing a game. They are champions without a crown but still playing the way of football at its best.
Wow, Spain have 65% possession and 812 passes, and have been trying to attack all night, but very few clear cut chances to show for it, certainly not many more than the Italians. I have very much enjoyed the way they have played though. Here we go. Got to fancy the Italians on penalties, which is of course the kiss of death for them.
What a man Chiellini is, having a laugh with the ref and Alba. He’s probably not taking a pen in the first 5…..
Well done Italy! I think for the quality of play throughout tournament they deserve it, but Spain were excellent tonight. A great game, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Let’s hope the game tomorrow lives up to this standard and England win.
Knew Morrata would miss. Classy penalty from the Chelsea git. Better team lost imo, but means nothing of course. Bring on tomorrow.
