I think 40 pts will likely be enough to survice this season. That means we only need to win 9 more games. There's bound to be a couple of draws along the way to get the extra couple of points. But that would not be my target. I think we are very capable of troubling the 55-60pts mark this season. 30 games left and there always tends to be more points won in the second half of seasons. Less games are drawn as sides cannot afford to simply not get beaten, sides need to win. but for safety, 9 more wins should do it. Hopefully we get them nice and quickly and still have some of the season left to go out there and show how good we really can be Exciting times. Anyone for another nice little european tour?
I ll play the part of a binner Kenny in their absence ,ok here goes... (Europe ?,don t make me laugh ,you budgies wil be in LG1 again in no time.....Pilkington and his idiots abroad?....etc).....Or something like that.................
I think you may be getting a little ahead of yourself kfotw. 40 points will do just fine, and even if we manage it, we'll get little more than 40 anyway. Our form will dip at some point, I just hope that when that happens we have enough to get ourselves over the line regardless.
I agree with foggo, i think you will be more than safe... & as for super123 have you thought of a doing stand up ?????
It's always dangerous to draw too many comparisons, but in 2004:05 we didn't have a win at this point in the season. It's very very encouraging Let's get as many points on the board by Xmas, who knows what will happen in the second half of the season. As someone has already said its better to be where we are now in the table rather than starting to get adrift
Have you not watched Norwich at all over the past couple of years? Since PL's arrival we have got better as seasons have progressed. Started ok (after the 7-1 col who result in L1 our next results were ok) and then improved. In both the January windows since PL has been here we have strengthened and strengthened well. Not spectacularly, but just enough to push the team on to the next level. I see no reason why this season should be any different.
