Have no idea about him tbh but cheers for enlightening me. Have to have a look once I finish training this afternoon
He's an absolutely brilliant signing under the right terms. Get him on a manageable salary and perhaps a short contract with an option for us to extend, and its relatively risk free.
Agree. I hear LJ sold the dream and wants him to prove the doubters wrong. Likely to happen and he has spoken to us ahead of championship clubs.
Can see him being played in the "number 10" role or dovetailing nicely with McGeady and Embleton off either side. Tasty stuff that.
I must have been under a rock regarding this Pritchard lad. Can't say I've ever heard of him before. If we are in for him I'll trust the new regime that he has what we need.
GK - Burge RB - Lichaj CB - Wright CB - Xhemajli LB - NEW SIGNING CM - O'Nien CM - NEW SIGNING RW - Pritchard AM - Embleton LW - McGeady (these three all interchangeable and fluid) S - Stewart That team would be decent. Ready for Championship? No. Good enough for promotion in this division if they gel properly and stay fit - definitely.
Signed for a club for £11m and played 30 premier league games since we were last in the premier league, yet some are saying that he's not good enough as he's not scored for a couple of seasons in a nightmare situation.
Attacking, skilful. Not quick enough to be a winger but more tricky. Picks out passes for fun. Clearly last 2 years not been so fun for him, but I very much doubt he's gone completely to **** permanently.
Xhemajli I think will shock loads of fans, can't wait to see him play, by the sounds of it from the club and other people I think he'll have more of an impact then Sanderson
Based on the very fleeting glimpses of him before the injury he looked perfect for this league. Decent on the ball, good in the air and certainly no pushover. Fingers crossed.
I know it was only pre-season against Gateshead but I was impressed with his positional sense and the way he played the ball out last year. Here's hoping he's fully over his injury.
Would have thought Wright and Xhemajli were too similar, and need a Willis/Sanderson next to them. Could be wrong, but think a mobile, athletic defender will be brought in to compliment Wright or Xhemajli.
