England have had the easiest route to a major final I can remember - apart from when Man U won the Europey in 2017 or whenever it was.

 

Tbf, he was right about one thing - Southgate is no Klopp.

 

Very true but you just know it was somehow meant to be criticism of Klopp

 

This is the point where minds wander and the tournament drops off the boil for me.

I think the press will be full on but the hacks will be back on the rumour mill as theres only so much england stuff you can write during the week.

The same tired rumours will start and we will probably not get press hunting round england for bad stories or leaking the team as the journalist will be hung drawn and quartered

 

if we get thru we will have played the teams ranked 7 8 10 16 in Uefa rankings noting we are ranked 3rd and Spain Italy are 5th & 6th .

 

Rankings don't mean too much though tbf. We're definitely not third best, Belgium aren't the best.

So we’ve had easy ride given we’ve played list of teams massively lower ranked than us?

 

since we are 3rd ranked nearly everyone is ranked below us
Spain have played teams ranked
13 , 15 , 19 ,10 , 9
so tell me how that differs particularly from England .

Although I expect that will change after the Euros.
Belgium, France and Brazil are the only teams ahead of England.

 

you seem to have missed my saying Uefa ranking because if we play Brazil in the European Championships something has gone seriously wrong .

No such thing as Uefa ranking for international. Only Fifa

 

well on FIFA website there is a toggle button to bring up just countries under the auspices of Uefa and then i used my fingers .

 

Nevertheless, whilst England maybe the 3rd best ranked country in Europe, they are still ranked 4th

 

i'll give you a draw if you agree i worked hard to use all of my 16 fingers to work out the European rankings .

 

Fifa rankings are all me arse, I just go on what I see.

I think Spain are bang average tbh. Morata offers fck all up front and I can't see where the goals will come from against Italy. Italy on the other hand have played the best football most consistently of any team throughout the tournament. Their attack will pull that Spanish defence apart imo.

They're an incredible side. Insigne is the player of the tournament for me, I could watch that bloke play all day.

Italy vs England final - by which time Italy's injuries will be too much for them to play their natural game, and we'll be too good.
