For the doubters of Harry and god knows why any does doubt him

And Kane’s game is about more than just finishing, as Jack Grealish pointed out.

‘There is so much tactical stuff going on around Harry,’ he said. ‘Plus, he’s our best player so teams are going to double up on him and try to get him out the game.’

Can't we make Son Heung-min an English eligible player overnight:emoticon-0105-wink:?

Sounds great. The roads in Ukraine/ Moldova were like that, but the route to and in Transnistria were pristine ! Fascinating country, though we had to be accompanied by a Guide (who I'm told more than likely worked for the KGB) who only let us see what they wanted us to. Apparently they have absolutely no unemployment or crime there !!!! :emoticon-0136-giggl

Ah Moldova and Transnistria, I lived in Moldova for a year about 20 years ago visited Transnistria a few times because the local worker / my helper had a side line business smuggling cement from there into Moldova. The border crossing we used was a bridge over a river, security was some blokes in civvies with guns. Local currency at the time was coupons.

Oddly enough managed to miss out on going (officially ) to the Ukraine having been in the countries all around, but did enter twice ( walked across the fields ) once from Russia and once from Moldova.

Good old days

I don't doubt him Chazz,I just thought he looked a bit jaded throughout the tournament thus far but that goal should and will be the spark for him to kick on.

Hopefully he'll be hungry tomorrow night and he can captain us to the win that will bring us back to Wembley...Confidence will be huge after the convincing win over Germany and we'll ooze class against Ukraine...3-1!!!

Well we won’t be going all guns blazing and will have to manage the game as tomorrow’s weather is set to be 33 degrees in Rome. Mind it’s being played at 8pm so hopefully a little cooler but will still be hot and sticky….

Yes,it'll have cooled down to 27 degrees by then...My previous visits from memory to Rome and Italy in general were of extreme humidity?

levelled off for ages before it started to ascend again- a few vodkas before getting on would have been welcome - was offered a job in Donesk at one stage but as it was a bit oligarchy I decided I preferred a job where job failure wasnt linked to life expectancy - however Kiev is a great city and the people are great too - good visit to the ballet there too

Well, there's a statement I never thought I'd read on this forum

Wow, my mate had said we will probably never meet anyone who has visited Transnistria!
The southern border crossing from Moldova actually has two checkpoints now, one Moldovan and one Russian, with a no mans land probably half a mile in between. That was over a bridge so maybe the same one. The Russian one was quite unnerving. We were really interrogated by soldiers armed with machine guns at the ready. My mate speaks a little Russian, so he handled most of it but said he'd told them I was a teacher and Mrs A a doctor. She was blushing when she then had to say the same, lying doesn't come easy to her!!

Only been to Ukraine once. I quite liked it. Especially the Georgian food influence there.

Took a couple of Ukranian's to Barcelona on a work trip, went for tapas one night, those guys just looked at it in disgust - "where is the meat and potato?" :)

Think we've all used that "Let me through I'm a doctor" ploy in our time tbf

Why what is the Georgian food influence out of interest?
