Dear syd, We had an awful start, just like the West Brom game, but again we showed enough resilience and fight to get back in the game. Itâs just a shame that [Robin] Van Persie, a world-class player, came up with piece of magic at the end. He is worth the entrance fee alone. If Iâm critical we gave too many free kicks away on the edge of the box, but otherwise I canât fault the players. If we keep playing like that, stick together and keep our heads up, weâll be okay. Seb [Larsson] scored a great goal and thatâs three heâs got for us now. Heâs showing his quality from set pieces. We had two big chances before half time and to go in 2-1 up would have been fantastic, but it wasnât to be. Against the big teams in the big stadiums you need to take your chances and we didnât do that today. We talked about starting well all week and then we conceded after 30 seconds, which wasnât easy. But the playersâ attitude and desire was unquestionable. Theyâre a good bunch. We did enough today to get something from the game and I take heart from that. All the best, Steve Bruce

Syd. Love your style and support you have given the man. Surely, you can see he has to go and go right now. My main worry is we have no fight - thanks to his management. This is the 15 point season all over again. x

sad to say,syd,so do I!!Also,the e-mail said the same rubbish that they have all season.Bruce has to go now,why wait till next week??The quicker he goes,the better the chance we get to read decent e-mails,from a decent clued-up manager that wont put square pegs into round holes!
