I think what we are all forgetting is the early development opportunities he got at QPR. WIthout that start in his career he would have got nowhere
We hadn't looked much of a threat until Sterling's goal, so we are at the least, unpredictable. Grealish was a great sub. Might be an even better starter.
Dull first half. Better in the second. Germany were poor. Delighted with the win. I’d like to see us play a team with some flair though.
Since being half Brit/German I had mixed emotions about the game. Before that the Germans scored 6 goals, whereas England only managed 2 goals - not promisingly entertaining. I must admit that the German performance was pityful (yes, they created several good chances but apart from that they were piss poor) and England fully deserved to beat a shi## German squad. We will have to overcome Sweden and have a decent encounter with Spain on the final day.
In place of who? If we switch back to 4-3-3 he will possibly start, or Mount, or Foden. We can't just pick all our attacking players like it's a play station game. Someone suggested earlier replacing our left wing back wirh Grealish. Once Shaw had finally kept their best player quiet, he was involved in both goals. Grealish and others coming on against tiring defenders is a hell of a weapon.
Lads how about giving it a ****ing rest..... Enjoy the fact that England won and that it's bought a bit of joy to the country..... Col stop being such a patronising twat... Stroller cut out the abuse....
Nice to have the choice of Grealish, Mount or Foden in 4-3-3. Given the way Grealish interracted with Kane for the second goal, I might favour him. But, yes, also highly effective as a super sub.
No time for him, Chris. Only someone with superior knowledge can stoop to patronisation. He doesn't have it.
