I think this will be the team to start against Germany. Perhaps Rashford in for Foden depending on whether he's allowed to be recalled.

I would put Foden on the right and have Rashford in place of Kane with Sterling on the left.

It's not the team that I would pick. Sancho would be the first name on the team sheet for the game against Germany. He rips them apart regularly on a weekend so I doubt the Germans would want him starting.

I'd probably stick with Kane for one more game but if he doesn't pull out the goods in this match then he needs benched.

a part of me is thinking if England want it tonight, they can take it but as much as a cliche it may sound, I can’t write off the Germans.

If our tempo is on point then we got this but I’m yet to see that tempo. Seen other teams go up the gears…can England if/when reqd? That’s my only doubt

I can't see anything but a win for the Germans. Never know though crazy things happen.

I think Kane should be dropped and we go Sterling, Rashford, Foden up front. If we do that, nailed on win. Play Kane and we are out. If we aint out, we got lucky, so prefer the nailed on version myself.

Maguire will play, Mings won't.

Mount depends on this isolation thing, if not him then Grealish. It should just be Grealish anyway.

Henderson to play instead of Rice alongside Phillips.

Kane striker, Sterling on left not right. (would personally rather Rashford but it won't happen, understandably given Sterling scored our only two goals so far I suppose)

Sancho or Saka on the right, preferably Sancho. I'd also rather Foden than Saka but for this match Sancho best bet.

Absolutely buzzing for this but nerves shredded too. Come on England ffs, we'll never get a better chance to beat the Germans at a major tournament ko match. This needs to be our moment.

Can see me drinking a considerable amount today.
