Junior Firpo is deffo a thing and talks are in final stages about structure of payments. Deal may not be possible but at least Leeds have gone in hard. Firpo said he wanted AC Milan but they only want a loan, and Leeds went in heavy and sold the club to Firpo who is now stating that he now prefers Leeds and Bielsa.

Barcelona paid Betis €18m rising to €30m on appearances. Barcelona immediately put a €200m buy out clause butBarcelona have failed to pay Betis the original €18m staged payment. Barcelona demanded €20m sale, Orta has gone in with an initial €18m so they can pay Betis off, with more to come as add-ons.

This story is now all over Spanish football and in Italy, but Fabrizio Romano is silent on it as yet but talking plenty about other deals that are happening, so we shall see

Yes, you're right. I'm a big fan of Forshaw. Like you say....he has to play a few games. He broke down in an U23 game at the back end of last season. I hope he can return for us. The longer it goes the less likely it would be.

Didn't realise he'd broken down again. Was it his hip issue? Hope not. Poor sod.

Sadly, I think Forshaw is finished as top level player. Been out for far too long and I think he’ll keep picking up niggling injuries as he tries to compensate for whatever has kept him out for so long.

Trade him in we might be able to afford a couple of bikes so some u11s can get to training.

Okay, help me out here. We signed Joffy, now Amari Miller from Birmingham, both had broken into their clubs first teams. Why leave that to play U23 football with Leeds? Or why don’t we buy and loan back? I’ve said many times before, I’m not convinced U23s prepares you for 1st team football (with the exception of Pascal Struijk before the pile on starts <cheers>)

Summerville also played first team for Feyenoord a few times, Joffy mainly from the bench and think Drameh had also had a run out for Fulham. Amari Miller grew up at Birmingham with his mate Jude Bellingham both of them 18yo. I think the coming season the U23s will come into their own and think we will see some debuts. Summerville down one side and Miller down the other will do some damage….. we now need to understand what Bielsa plans to do about Poveda and Costa. We will be bringing in competition for Harrison which relegates both Poveda and Costa because we have Raphinha.

Joffy will deffo get some game time this coming season

Maybe, but there’s no real evidence that Marcelo will trust the U23s unless as a last resort
