I have met Syd at Sol quite a few times and can honestly say he is one of the nicest people I have ever come across. But I think he wanted other members to be as prolific a poster as he was. Which was never going to happen. And the loss of Billy D and his buddy Dave had a big part in his decision to close down.

I used to go on there a fair bit when it first started and even won the prediction league once!! I spent a few months working away and basically binned most social media for a while and then got an email from Syd saying that as I hadn't posted for 3 months my account had automatically been deleted. Didn't bother with it after that.
