Scotland are used to losing, a habit they have had for 300 years.I understand you wouldn't have enjoyed it, but the skill with the outside of his boot was excellent. I wanted Scotland to qualify for what it's worth.

Because Rangers went bust and were relegated to the 3rd tier. I'm sure you know that. The sectarian stuff is slowly going, but Larkhall is still ridiculous.Gonna have to while I can, unfortunately I think England will be going out next Tuesday.
Also the Rangers fans seem to be less bothered about Scotland than other fans in my experience. They seem to have a beef with the SFA and a few I know probably prefer Northern Ireland to Scotland (central belt sectarian stuff still confuses me)

The only place in the country that Subway had to have a black shop sign because green is banned in the town. They even complained about the traffic lights and the grass.

Started off really well, then gradually petered out. But Saka and Grealish did more in ten minutes than Foden and Mount did in two games.

"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom."
But its not! Top level sport is all about winning, everyone would rather win with a bit of style but that can't always be the case.
Do you think they care in Greece that they were possibly the most boring team ever to win a major international tournament of course they don't.
Did the Italians after beating the amazing Brazil side of 1982 say we are sorry that we were dull and pragmatic by comparison?
Sometimes substance and heart can be beautiful anyone who witnessed Jimmy Connors beat John McEnroe at Wimbledon in1982 knows what I mean.
If England win 4 matches, 1-0 they will pick up the trophy if we lose the next match 5-4 in the most entertaining match of the tournament we get nothing.
Neither of these is actually likely but i will take the first over the 2nd every day of the week.

As do the Portuguese. Germany out as it stands. Will change many times I suspectHungary put the pigeon amongst the cats
You think Ronaldo would have let him take one?How frustrating must it have been for Fernandes sitting on the bench with the ref handing out penalties like confetti
