Have you noticed how Lewedowski is constantly moving and creating passing oppertunities?
The pundits obviously have :emoticon-0100-smile

So I guess you will have noticed a slight difference in the way that Spain set and defended and the way Scotland set up and defended? Spain are coached by a man who sees defending as an occasional requirement, setting up a defence has never been his strong point his Barcelona side were great to watch but conceded a lot of goals. Scotland are coached by an excellent defensive coach who set his side up brilliantly there was no space in there defence whereas at times you could drive a bus through Spains.

I am not saying Kane played well he clearly didn't but I don't think Lewandowski would have faired but much better on Friday night.

I’m guessing that we can expect our game against Czech Rep will consist of us playing for a 0-0?

Surely both us and Czech Rep don’t wanna be playing France, Germany or Portugal?

Czech rep won’t want to lose, as it opens the door for Scotland and Croatia, and nor will we. The difference being that we’re in the driving seat with a GD of -1.
That second place finish meaning we have the second place in group E. - much easier on paper. Surely no one wants to win our group?! <laugh>

We can slate southgate and the players for tactics/performances, but you have to wonder whether this was all part of a bigger plan!!

I hope England are better than Spurs at shutting up shop. If Jose "bus_parked" Mourinho can't get a defensive performance I wouldn't hold out much hope for Southgate

No striker for Wales? Not sure that's a good idea.

Surely even a 1-0 loss gets us through in 2nd place unless Scotland beat Croatia heavily and even then we are shoe-ins to be one of the four best third placed teams. Not sure why we'd try at all to be honest. Give game time to those who have not featured much yet and see how they do.

Yeah I know, I was referring to the fact that the Czech rep might not try to win. If they do, they win it. Surely they won’t want to either? Hence why we’re in the driving seat of we can play for a draw, as their goal difference is better.

Italy look good totally dominant thats a 1-0 thrashing in all honesty - and amazingly for finishing 2nd in the group they get the runners up in Belgiums group for a place in the quarters - if you can't be good be lucky lol

looking at probable draws/qualifiers I think it is in our interest to win tomorrow. Yes it means likely Germany or possibly Portugal, but after that, that half of the draw looks weaker. Top half is likely to have Belgium, France and Italy. But if we can get past the Germans we are in with a shout of the semis again. No one is sure how the 3rd places will fall, but best guess is we are better off in the bottom half of the draw.

There are lots of ifs and maybes but this is how it is looking
