Hereditary

Load of ****. Annoyed i watched it tbh

Plays like a good movie all the way to the end then cops out with some gay af ending.

1/10 just another dogshit horror

Saw this in the cinema when it came out, completely get your point although I think 1/10 is harsh! Try some of Ben Wheatley's films, he's got a new one out called In the Earth which looks good. Kill List, Sightseers, A Field in England all good too

I just think im immune to horror movies. Ive not seen one as an adult that done the business, the purge movies done more for me than hereditary tbh.

Dunno why i still bother with horrors tbh im always disappointed

Flashback

So torn on this one. You need to follow it very, very carefully and even then the ending is massively ambiguous. First film I've found really mind-bending since Tenet but whereas that was just too much, Flashback toes the line. Combo of Memento, Synchronic and Donny Darko.

3/10 if you cba thinking.

8/10 if you can.

Nice to see Dylan O'Brien (Maze Runner, Love & Monsters) evolve out of his 'unsuspecting cute hero' comfort zone to take on much meatier and complex roles.

I watched Spotlight the other night. Never seen it before.

Excellent, had me hooked from minute 1.

Btw Liev Schreiber, is there a more underrated actor? The bloke is such a fine actor and always goes under the radar. Every time I see him in a film I know his performance will be top drawer.
