Portsmouth had a gate of 11,261..the kind of gate we'd get for a league cup match against a second division side on a wet Tuesday.

11k?? Is that it? Wow!

It makes me laugh that Krap Nottarf struggles to get 11/12k on a Saturday evening and we are set to fill St Mary's on what the weather report looks to be a wet VERY cold Tuesday night. Pompey good support? GOT to be the biggest joke I've ever heard, we we're getting more than Krap Nottarf can handle even in L1!

Wondered how many Saints fans continued to listen to the Radio Solent commentary after the Derby game and listen to Pompey? Mark Kelly seemed to be suggesting that Dave Jones is the most likely choice and there are rumours that he was actually at Fratton Park yesterday.

I thought that Jones was an abolsute disaster for Saints and, despite the horrnedous allegations, thought that he would be shown the door shortly afterwards. It was a relief when Hoddle came in as I felt that we were only going one direction under DR. Interestingly, he does seem extremely capable at Championship level and was unfortunate at Cardiff. In my opinion, he is not of the right calibre for the Premiership and was out of his depth at The Dell. He would be an excellent appointment for PFC and there would be continuity with him linking up with Stuart Gray. Having Jones as manager would definately be a signal of intent that the Pompey board are serious about the direction they want to take the time whereas someone like O'Driscoll would not be much of an improvement on Cotterill. Assuming Jones gets the job, that will add spice to the derby matches and Jones will feel he has unfinished business. Curious to see if the money situation at Pompey is as perilous as at Cardiff.
