Yup, officially announced him the other day. Been at Juve for the last 10 years I think. Had some hits and misses there it seems but is apparently well connected. We've had all misses for about 5 years though so he can't be any worse at bringing players in than Levy/ Hitchen at the moment.
That sounds better than levy holding all the cards i guess. I think dofs are the way to go tbh, if you get the appointment right and everyones on the same page of course, it should give a club continuity when you have a clear club vision on playing style and the types of players needed for that, and again your managers should be chosen to suit that vision. You get all that right and its usually all good,
Yeah a lot of us have wanted someone to ideally take the footballing decisions away from Levy for a while, let him focus on the business side where he's usually good for us. Most do seem to be going down the DoF route now so I think it's only right we try following suit. The fact Paratici wanted Fonseca and that's who we're seemingly hiring should be good for their relationship going forward. Time will tell though I guess.
Been told by somebody who is friends with Trippier’s family that he’s bought a house in Hale. A move could be on the cards or his family might just not like Madrid.
There’s a Hayle down here mate. You sure you heard it right ? He gonna sign for Penzance FC next week
