BAE is to start a new weekly column in the Evening Standard. Not much new in the attached article, but I find this eloquent young man's approach to life and football refreshing, when compared to the excesses of his peers. He can play a bit too. http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/stand...ny-people-in-football-think-the-same-as-me.do
"What's amazing now is if you were to look at the individual names in both squads, I doubt very much a Tottenham player would look at the list and think he would much rather join Arsenal. So that says it all. You know for me, at the moment, I wouldn't say yeah I'd like to go to Arsenal because I would prefer to play with Modric than Arteta." - BAE Hard to argue with that, really.
And what's the take-away from that article on the BBC rumours page? Give me my f'n License Fee back!!!
Now here is a footballer who has something to say and will no doubt be interesting to read. I suspect we will be inspired to write quite a few article on here as a result of his column.
Very interesting to hear his views on managers. I don't remember him frozen out under Ramos though, apart from Bale we didn't have anyother leftbacks did we?
Chimbonda left under or before Ramos' reign didn't he? I seem to remember 'Arry buying him back in his first transfer window. Chimbonda was a strange one, he had a really good first season for us, I never knew why he struggled so much thereafter.
