<laugh> Telling everyone daily you’re clever isn’t really the same as being clever. He never had any kind of comeback for even the slightest of ribbings apart from getting personal very quickly, which was telling for me on how clever he really was.
I also don’t buy into the “dad of the year” bollocks either. I, and I expect many others on here don’t talk about our families, whereas you got chapter and verse from Fosse. Seemed to think picking his kids up from university or bringing them home when ill made him a stand out dad. Hate to piss on his bonfire but he didn’t do anything that I’m sure all of us would have or have done for our kids.

So in summary it a “**** him” from me <laugh>

Not expecting everybody to agree with what I say, he divided opinion and they’re often the best characters. I had my own run ins with him, bloke was as petty and thin skinned as they come sometimes but I still liked him, but I like most people tbh.

I honestly enjoyed his pics and stories of his garden and family. I respect anybody that's open enough to share a bit of their life with us.
