On June 2nd Roo celebrated 10 years on not606 and this prompted me to look at my own start date as well as our other posters. As far as I can tell the longest serving member is SpursDisciple from Jan 25th 2011 A day later littleDinosaurLuke joined on Jan 26th 2011 Then I joined on Jan 27th 2011 Feb 4th saw the arrival of Paultheplug followed on Feb 10th by Bald Archie. Those are the oldest I found. Have I missed out anyone? There was a big boost on May & June 2011 which I think was when BBC 606 closed. 10 years have flown past Some of the early posters didn't stay long as we sorted ourselves into fairly like minded boards. I think not606 represented those who wanted more than one line comments. Just thought you might be surprised to see who some of our longest serving posters are,

I joined in May 2011. Also joined ja606 as it copied the bbc606 layout but quickly found I didn’t like it. This post reminded me of that site so just had a quick look and logged in for the first time in years and it feels so dated and not very user friendly.
Had a quick look to see if I recognised any names but can’t say I do. It’s really hard work on the eyes that website.

I joined this place when 606 shut and browse ja occasionally, but it tends to remind me why I didn't sign up over there. There seems to be very little tolerance for difference of opinion and a lot of infighting. Maybe it's not that different, after all!

Legendary name that. Pretty sure I chose that name because not long before I joined the forum, me and my mates had a chat down the pub as to whether we’d choose a night with our dream girl or seeing Spurs win the Prem. 10 years later I’ve had neither
I also joined on the last day of May 2011, coming from BBC606 where I’d lurked for years but barely posted. Tbh it was the same for me on here at first. I’m glad I made it here instead of JA, or Reddit, or getting sucked into today’s iteration of football Twitter. I’d completely forgotten DH was SoS but now his signature makes sense again
I joined BBC606 as" Klinsmann one nil " or Ceareal Killer , Danny Baker started the 606 radio show which in my opinion has never been bettered The highlight was the Millwall match where a hand grenade was thrown on the pitch , ref called on the groundsman who picked it up and dropped it into a bucket of sand and walked off with it at arms length . Imagine the chaos if that happened today , Tottenham high road closed for a mile in either direction and both squads and officials offered therapy
Hahaha class! 10 years is a long time on here. I can’t believe how quickly the years have gone and how many of us are still here. Plus all the great additional posters that have joined the community over the years! I’m yet to find anywhere else that you can actually have a decent football discussion with fellow supporters and rival fans. Would be amazing to have a 24 hour period where everyone changes their name back to the original one they signed up with, as well as removing their avatar, or (if anyone can remember), changing it to their first display pic. Imagine the confusion on the faces of our regular rival fan visitors.

According to my profile I joined in march 2011, after being disolusioned with ja606. Best decision, I really enjoy the banter and debate on this platform.
I do remember the Mods at that time or maybe one of them wanted you out because you must have upset one on BBC606. I had to fight your corner to keep you on here I can remember an Anthony Newley song from way back. What Kind Of Fool Am I Glad you're here really
