So are pedalos. You can bang your shins on them pedals!
Not dead ones

Are the riders all idiots?
They die in the race every year.
Are the riders all idiots?
And horses don't die in the National every year. They die too often, but far from every year. Up For Review was the first fatality in 7 years.

Almost all of those things can you kill you outside of a car too. Driving in this country is relatively safe and no more dangerous than most other activities. Accidents can happen in a car even when you are driving safely, though that usually involves somebody else driving like an idiot. Things like potholes and mechanical breakdown shouldn't kill you if you are driving safely and have the driving abilities and hazard awareness that you should have to be on the roads. When it comes to flying debris in the wind then I'd prefer to be inside a car than walking outside of it.
And the point about driving above 70mph was that you said it was dangerous between 20 and 70, so just a **** joke![]()
It’s almost silly that so many people are scared to fly, even though driving remains the number one cause of death in most age groups.
Safe as houses mate
Chances of being involved in an injury accident
Get ready, because this is some scary stuff. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), two out of three motorists will be involved in an injury accident during their life!
Whether you are the one who becomes injured or not is another story, but that’s some eye-opening stuff. Two out of three? Geeze!
Why are you quoting a study on roads in the United States, some of the most dangerous in the world, when we are talking about driving in this country??
Compared to the US roads? Yes!!You think we're less prone to injury or death?
Driving isn't safe at all

Statistically, driving is the most dangerous work activity that most people undertake. ... Compared to all other work activities, it contributes to far more work-related accidental deaths and serious injuries. So we're only talking about when you are at work now?
