We've had a lot to contend with recently. Air is racist, hot weather is racist, Critical Race Theory says EVERYTHING is racist, Police are racist (may have a point), universities are racist, sport is racist, TV is racist, etc etc

But now some twat is linking the apple (Humble?) pie to colonial racism. Why you may ask? Because European settlers in the States brought over apple trees as a sign of marking out their new territories, the sugar in the pie comes from slave states and evil racists who cover their pies with gingham tea towels stole the idea from the indigenous population.

There is no comedy any more, as this too is racist, so I can't even dismiss this codswallop as being a stab at funny. Just what is this meant to achieve? Stop eating apple pies?
