In Lewis' defence he always thanks the team when it involves podiums and Wins, just like most of the top flight drivers do. He can never say it enough to the team and it's great for moral in the team. Edit: that's meant to be positive btw!
Is it not obvious why Hamilton did not celebrate or anything after getting pole? Maybe it was because it was only qualifying and not the race. If he had celebrated loads after getting pole and then not won the race then it is just more stuff for the media and fans to go on and on about. He clearly knows that qualifying means jack all and it is the race where he has to perform and which have been the problem a lot of the time this year, not quali.
I didn't think I could get any more fed up of people arguing about Lewis Hamilton. But then I got home from work and took at look this thread....*sigh*
Why are people saying I'm angry with Lewis getting pole? I'm more angry with his attitude at the moment. In my opinion its more negative attitude than personal problems with his life and I feel he's using it as an excuse to act a bit of a petulant child. This isn't targeting Lewis because I'm a Seb fan, I'm genuinely for the first time have a problem with his attitude towards everyone. If this is the route he wants to go then fine, but stick with it and stop changing colour every season when it suits him.
The guy makes a valid point. We all mocked and Jeered Alonso when McLaren didn't give him any love, yet people want to give Hamilton sympathy, when his situation is nowhere near as bad as Alonso's was.
you seem to have hit the nail on the head silver , from where i am sitting lewis would seem to have let the little bit of flack from his fellow drivers and the media get to him somewhat , you certainly would"nt want him in the trenches with you if something so trivial is upsetting him , what does he seriously expect when he has driven in such a braindead fashion at times this year and then backs it up with naive childish comments --
It'll be interesting if there's valid reason (personal or otherwise) to explain why Lewis was so down after qualifying.
Hey, welcome to the forum, i see you've had enough of Tsheporam's deranged wittering on JA606. The comments you've made about his braindead driving are accurate.
I do not really see many people giving Hamilton sympathy, sure some people are but some people were on Alonso's side in 2007 as well. Plus this whole thing about sympathy is just SilverArrow being bitter Vettel did not get pole, it is not like Hamilton has asked for sympathy or anything, it is completely unsubstantiated.
I didn't start the thread to invite folks to argue about Hamilton... Some folks hate him no matter what and there will be no changing that. Sorry it's heading down the usual routes. I should have known better.
Who knows. I just thought it would be quite bitter sweet if it turned out that he has a genuine reason to be down. Then all this arguing with people calling his a 'spoiled brat' and for him to 'grow up' might look a bit silly. Of course, this could very well not be the case. However, it's as well to wonder about such things before one openly criticises someone when one knows very little real information and facts about the matter.
It's as impossible for some people to discuss Hamilton objectively as it is the crazy fan boys. Two ends of the partisan spectrum.
So I can say the same thing, saying your all bitter because Seb is WDC again? "Bitter much" Lol just a cheap excuse to disregard my opinion on another driver.
Hey, i'd never meaningfully criticise serious aspects of his private life. I'll gladly criticise his driving and personal conduct at a race circuit, but slagging off drivers for personal terms is something i don't enjoy doing any more, it's immoral and unfair. As long as he dates Scherzineggar (can't figure it out) meaning i can call her the terminator, i'm happy.
Hey, i'm bitter that Hamilton got pole, however i ignore that, because Felipe outqualified Fernando again, and that makes me happy.
