Because you don't run a business into the ground which makes it totally worthless to the prospective buyeronly a few days ago you all declared it was a dome deal simply because of the sun reporting Mike ashley was 'certain' the green light would be given.
I said I wasn't convinced, that we can't be sure and as always was ridiculed for holding a perfectly rational position.
The thing is if Mike's so certain then why is the club preparing for a future with Ashley?
you keep it ticking along quietly for the new owners to takeover
you don't make massive investments either, just a bit maintenance here and there

1 year extensions to contracts are filling a gap
maybe Gayle said he wanted a longer contract
Ashley would have a pre-takeover contract with AS/RB/Pif
to deliver a premier league club
he doesn't want to get sued for breach of contract either
