All I've seen is what you keep repeatedly posting and there is no AND between 'beating Liverpool/win a trophy'.

So no, I'm not sure, but my interpretation of what you keep saying is correct.

It's down to you to post the actual correct terms of the bet mate not me, sorry.

I also agree that 'during the four years of his contract' is also not there on view.

So you would definitely win that bit as, well, he's already left.

Don't understand any of this, but seems to me, it's like turning up to the bookies and trying to claim your win on the 2.30, but you've lost the betting slip. <laugh>

Not really mate, that's going by your post when you called in the bet and quoted Spurly's post on the bets4bantz thread.

I read it the same way as @Chief because usually a forward slash / between two things means either/or

Anyway going by what Tobes has posted he accepted it's both so it doesn't matter, but had he not done so I'd have gone with either/or.

It was a footie bet, so based on Ancelotti’s ability to both beat dem red men, which we’d not managed for a decade and to win a pot which we’ve not managed in 26 long ****ing years. Sucky reckoned he wouldn’t be able to do either. He had a 4 year contract and he had 4 years to deliver, if he’d have been sacked then I’d have lost by default. But him being tapped up by RM and leaving after his first full season means we’ll never find out whether he was the man to deliver the other half of the bet.
