I'm not convinced by that at all

This is a common cop out amongst believers.

They're the one making the claim and rather than provide sufficient evidence for their extraordinary claim they instead try to pass the burden on proof on to the people that are simply saying " I'm unconvinced about your fanciful idea".

Do you actually believe anything you type?

On a separate note.

Exodus 21.

It is ok to own a person as property?? How can anyone in this day and age believe in a god that advocated for slavery.?

I see absolutely no reason to believe in god. But then again many people have many different ideas as to what god means.

They've got it all covered haven't they?

When you're at a school their comes a point where you question why there's more than one god? , but they're waiting for you to question this issue and reply by saying some people believe in this one, some people believe in that one and some people believe there's loads of them.

I respect all religions and all who chose a religious path. No issues at all.

On a personal level I used to go to Sunday school, excelled at RE at school and take a real key interest in the way religions are interwoven. For example Islam and Christianity share quite a few of the same 'characters' let's say.

My personal belief is that there is no' god' per se, in that no single deity exists and that most religious scriptures are stories, some based on real people... some on made up people and nothing more.

Religion can be a really good thing as it gives people comfort, hope and in some cases purpose so that can't be a bad thing at all surely?

I do think a lot of things still go unexplained, but that doesn't mean we won't have the technology or skills to explain them one day...

I just want to know what happens when you die? Like literally what happens to your mind!

I'm just wondering if any believers on here would like to define what God they believe in and what evidence they have that's lead them to conclude that this God exists?

I'm just interested because I cannot find one reason or bit of evidence that is sufficient for me to believe in any of the gods people claim exist.

No offence intended just a discussion please
**** off

Feel any better yet?
