Gotta say I thought Kante was finished. He’s been an incredible player and deserves his place among the immortals of English football, alongside the likes of Henry, Scholes & Lampard.
I also got something right though, I knew Havertz would find his feet eventually. He’s gonna be some player that lad, for years to come.

Congrats Chelsea. The media reaction is amusing I'm pretty sure they had all written up their Man City CL triumph pieces before the game and were all looking forward to going out on the piss after the game.
I couldn't help but notice they were trying to paint man City as some great underdog that's risen up from the 3rd tier by a miracle rather than 2 billion
Couldn't agree more with kante. Hes getting on a bit and been suffering a bit of a dip the last couple of seasons and suffering more regular injuries.
Since hes been allowed to recover not being played as an attacking midfielder hes been excellent again and its been great to see him shutting midfields down again

the Talkshite City ****athon pre match certainly went on about their journey from 3rd tier to CL final, but there was no mention of the billions spent by their owners illegally to get them to that point.
If it's any consoliation they're planning on doing one for arsenal in about 3 years in reverse.
Whereas Chelsea were regular visitors to European football before Roman.
