Wow, what another MOTM performance by the young Spaniard today. Never put a foot wrong all game.

He's coming better with every game - looked absolutely solid on pretty much everything today whilst Reina was fumbling a bit. If only that shot he spilled had fallen at Welbeck's feet instead of a yard to the side...

You could see it against Stoke, he might not have caught everything perfectly, but he showed from the first Delap throw on that he looked to be positive rather than just sit on his line.

Just a shame that his wall didn't do its job. It was Giggs's fault, but I could understand his thinking that Gerrard wanted to hit it around the wall and tried to pull Welbeck out with him. Even Gerrard himself admitted that he didn't mean to hit it like that.

His shot stopping ability is fantastic and other aspects of his game can be worked upon and fine tuned but the natural ability and love for stopping the ball going into the net cannot be taught.

he's pretty much been the player responsible for making sure we get something out of our last 2 away games imo.

The lads doing well.Good performance from him today.I thought Giggs, Young and Fletcher were poor today, while Smalling, Ferdinand, Evans and Welbeck were, alongside DeGea, were our better performers.Evra looked more like his old self, which was a bonus though he seemed determined to be booked.

I think Jones needs some polishing to play as a CM, DM would suit him better at present. His touch needs worked on for him to operate higher up the pitch as too often today in condensed areas his second touch was a tackle.

All in all I was happy with the point, which was a fair result and an improvement on recent visits.

Giggs was dire for you boys. Shouldn't be starting in games like this IMO.

I am really happy at how this lads confidence hasnt been affected by the english media. It was clear they went for him from the off as they so often do with good young players. Criticise every mistake and ignore all the good stuff.

De Gea is really showing hes got the mindset and the ability to cope in the PL. Something many keepers at United have failed to do.

Thought De Gea was outstanding today, see how the pundits/media don't praise though. They were dying for an error bless them.

    Top keeper!

I was really impressed with his save against Kuyt, he stayed set and on his feet even though Kuyt was a few yards away and then reacted as Kuyt struck the ball. Many keepers would have already made up their mind on which way to dive before the ball was struck.

thought our " Spanish Lad " was the real man of the match today, however due to Giggs caring more about his "wedding tackle " than holding his position in the wall, Stevie Me scores a soft goal and gets the title. Well I suppose that's the only title he is ever going to win this season and if Fergie had started with the team we finished with, then I'm sure 3 points would have been in the bag today.
However, it's one point more than we got last season ( or the previous two ) and with champs league midweek and then ****ty next weekend you can understand some players being rested, after all it was only Liverpool and not one of our main rivals !

Our keeper made two or three world class saves yesterday, following some great performances in his last few games, but I can't find any of the "Papers" singling him out for praise. Funny how they all jump on the bandwagon when he made a couple of mistakes earlier in the season ! Now watch them blow the Evra incident out of all proportion and wouldn't put it past them to eventually blame Evra for being black !!!!

His performance today was incredible. He's proven all of those doubters wrong and I'm certainly delighted that he has.

I'll tell you now, this boy is destined to go on to big things while at Manchester United. He's already the best young goalkeeper in the league and it's only a matter of time before he surpasses the best ones such as Reina and Cech.
