Allegri returning to Juve realistically looks bad for both, as Juve are bringing back somebody who left the club two managers ago, while Allegri is effectively having to accept that nobody significant was interested in bringing him in at any point in the last eighteen months (so thanks for that, Bayern...)
Doherty isn't a right-back, though. We shouldn't keep him unless we bring in a manager that prefers wingbacks. Bring back Walker-Peters and sign someone else as back-up/competition.

We need club grown players though or we're effectively giving up squad places for nothing. It's another example of important decisions being neglected over the last few years. Walker-Peters was horribly handled and that was obvious without the benefit of hindsight.
