Not sure he spoke out about Man U having a third kid kit and expecting kids to pay fifty quid for a piece of tatty polyester
He can afford to have morals and be against it all now he's not being paid by them.... He was never going to bite the hand whilst it was feeding him
You may well be doing him a disservice there by suggesting (obliquely) that he may have had no morals when he was being paid for his efforts on the pitch, and subsequent endeavours after he stopped playing. He was playing in a system whereby he was rewarded for his success, financed by the paying public (whether that was via ticket purchases, TV subscriptions, large Corporations spending millions on sponsorships and advertising contracts with media services) or by the success of the team he was attached to. The general public wanted it (supply & demand). Businesses latched on and exploited it. The football governing bodies also encouraged the system (despite the "natural tiered system" flawed architecture that developed). Gary Neville followed the flow. He had a family to feed etc. He seems to be attempting to put something back into the system by making others aware of some of the flaws in the system. He needs to be given credit for that, not insulted for being part of the economic system millions subscribe to. He even knew that comments like your own would emerge. He had the balls to mention that too.
I had to give that back to Steven Spielberg, the needy ****. I replaced it with a 20ft, solid gold Patrick Stewart effigy.
and a pretty impressive one blowing bubbles in Parliament Square in York. 'Only' £1 to have a selfie with it too (no, I haven't). -> Only 27 pages to go. Come on people, we can do this......... just trying to help.
Liverpool have two grades of shirt out for next season. The higher grade one is £109. All made, like so much fashion stuff, for next to nothing in foreign sweatshops.
£109?.That's absolutely ridiculous!! Some people supporting our Club are looking for a season membership for that price.
This is what they do in States with NFL/NBA shirts, or uniforms or whatever the **** they call their tat.
Looking at the locals wearing them, I just assumed they were dished out with social security payments.
One is the grade the players wear. The (relatively) cheaper one is isn't...It is also crap and looks more like a Roma kit. Daft sods all over the world, 99% of who have never been to Liverpool never mind Anfield, will buy them anyway. please log in to view this image
