Solutions to the problems at SAFC

  • Sack the head coach, keep the players - it's all down to him

  • Get shot of most of the players - it's their fault

  • Keep the gaffer, he will get it right under the new owner

  • Fans fault (lol, just joking)

  • Armageddon, we are lifetime members of league 1 regardless

  • That's football! Still getting a season ticket

Disappointing but not too disappointed

There is an opportunity to go with younger players next season, build a team good enough to get out of this league and to grow and form the core of the team in the championship.

The question is will the club be brave enough to do it or will it just recruit slightly better league 1 plodders

Interesting interview from LJ on Sky talking about having a good youth side and academy. He mentioned it early in the interview

Haven't seen the interview yet, so difficult to comment just hope it's not kind words and platitudes and that he does actually try using some of the kids. He did do so in the cup competitions to an extent but seemed loathe to do it in the league until he almost had to. I can understand a manager going with senior pros it's the safe choice I just think we need to be a little braver

What was that famous comment again... you don't win anything with kids :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Would love to see KLDs blue print for next season, can LJ be persuaded to start 3 or 4 of our rising starlets and surround them with seasoned pro's who won't be bullied as we have been for the last three seasons.
Stewart is nailed on as our CF and I can put up with Burge as keeper, albeit with a settled back four in front of him cos it can't have been easy with all the injury issues we've had.
Interesting few weeks ahead hope it starts at 9am Monday.
Finally think Blackpool will have too much for Lincoln.

Johnson signed 65 players in 4 seasons at BCFC.
City at season end are the worst side in the Championship.
