Anyone else think that Blackpool vs Lincoln sounds like a 4th tier play off final rather than 3rd?

 

I think Blackpool are already ready for the Championship challenge, I'm hoping they beat Lincoln in the final, to give us what I see as the weaker of the two teams next season. Rather than the result of one game.

Some of it is the psychology of it. Toney for Brentford would be a good example of that today, when he said he wanted to be a Premier League player, and this would be his one chance to achieve that.

Blackpool another example, playing with the mentality of a Championship side.

I saw nothing in the Sunderland side that said to me, they saw themselves as Championship players, they were more beating Lincoln tactically in the first half, but come the second half, they were nowt more than burnt out L1 players.

They need to rebuild. Same as my lot will be doing preseason.
