Benteke has done alright this season and has score in each of the last 4 games.
10 league goals so as per he is in a streaky run just before a free transfer.

I cannot wait for this last game. It's a shame we wont see the players and families and that like before but at least we can hopefully draw a positive line under the season.
3 years ago we got 75 points and took 4th but this year 4th seems a failure.
It's just nice to think we can kick on again rather than do an arsenal on this.
I cant see us shovelling money about and the anfield road end looms to be forgotten right now.
Hopefully we will get a good summer and everyone will be fit in preseason

we are unlikely to be signing early.
the club has already flagged its going to wait and see where it can get "value", that means we will leave klopp with no preseason with new players.
Again out squad going into next season as of now has many many warm bodies
GK: Alisson, Kelleher, adrian to stay
RB: trent, williams
LB: robertson, tsimikas(poeple need to get off his case)
RCB: Matip, gomez, phillips
LCB: VVD. williams, Davies
No 6: fabinho
LCM: Jones, milner
RCM: Thiago Henderson, Ox
LW: mane, jota
St: Firmino
RW: Salah, Elliott
Spares/deal wood: Keita, Origi, Shaqiri, woodburn, wilson, grujic.
Before Jimmy even start in on the 3 cbs I can identify 6 players who could move on and really should to get a game for themselves.

We will see. Klopp likes his new players in early, especially if they are earmarked as critical for the first team. The club are not exactly going to say that though are they?
regarding CB’s, personally, I don’t want to head into next season having to rely on Phillips and Williams. VvD and Gomez will return (hopefully) but will likely suffer niggles/further injuries and Matip spends more time on the treatment table than the pitch. So this area needs bolstering. Kabak plus one other maybe?
the full backs need to be rotated or they will burn out in Jan/Feb (again) - so play the back ups when we can or replace the one(s) that aren’t good enough! Easier said than done, I know.
agree on your ‘dead wood’ list a midfielder, although Klopp likes flexible players who can play in more than one role and I think that everyone agrees that we need a #9 - Mbappe will do
I doubt it.
Someone will pay him more for a little while so in reality the short deal we offered will be bettered.
He is on a free so people will see a reliable bargain and we will have let him go.
I think barca will decide koeman's first as imo his job should be under severe threat.

Only time will tell but I think the usual suspects have been told what to say and they quietly start the line about value over a month ago.
Cl football might change things.
Also no anfield road planning announcement means funds should be available.
This season has highlighted one glaring fact. We don’t have a proper goalscoring midfielder. Man City have them with De Bruyne and Gundogan, Utd have one with Fernandes. All our midfielders combined for the season just ended contributed 8 goals in 38 league games. That is simply piss poor.
