In the spirit of the Israeli/Palestine ceasefire. I propose a board ban amnesty. All board bans to be lifted to demonstrate world peace @brb
It's not about who's better at pulling it off though Saff. It's not about the win. It's about one group of people illegally occupying the territory of another, based solely on a religious/racial basis and taking away their rights to freedom and self-determination. And the fact that the world is quite indifferent to this injustice. If you're asking me if the situation was reversed would I feel the same way about it, yes absolutely. If Hamas and the Palestinians were illegally occupying a land which was home to Jews then I would wholeheartedly support a Jewish struggle against them. But then... so would the whole world, the U.S., the U.K. and the U.N. As I said before Desert Storm 2 would be raining down right now. So much so that the idea of it happening in reverse is folly.
That's clearly a majority then. @brb I need unbanning from the Spud board and Saff needs unbanning from about 15 other ones. Cheers
I wasn't asking you that, I know you would speak out if it was the other way around. I was asking you, if Palestine had the bigger and better weapons, do you believe that they'd be persecuting the Israeli's?
ok now I know you're on the piss-take. If anyone knows me on this board they know I've banged on about the Uighurs, Myanmar and Kashmir. That shambles of a Brexit thread, I had countless run ins with Dunc about the Uighurs. I'd add Saudi Arabia to that as well and what they're doing in Yemen btw. Not quite the same as it's two separate nations but Saudis are ****s.
A petition or a 'free saff' movement could be good. Remember peaceful demos are pointless as nobody listens so unfortunately they may be some collateral damage, but **** them. #FreeSaff
Question: Right wing groups are the minority and are not welcome in this Country. So would you support a right wing group because they were being silenced and suppressed by the majority. No you wouldn't, but that could be potentially what you are doing with Hamas IF they are a terrorist organisation. The only difference is it's a different part of the world and one where war is used as a tool of discussion rather than words. After all, why call them Hamas, instead of Palestinians, would you refer to the army in this country as Tory, because they are the controlling party?
