Course bruv, most complete player I've ever seen.

Aint seen Tobes have ya. I'll have to tell him the news, hell be so pleased a scouser is in.

had it all, defender, attacker, DM, ACM, leader, big game player, massive. It wasn’t that he could play these roles, it’s that he played them all like they were natural to him. I even suggested him to be our next gaffer coz I think he’s got that steel in him that we need.

probably most complete player in that list all the others deserve to be in it too but their game didn’t have ‘everything’ in my very humble opinion

I applaud your honestly bruv<applause>

One day he will take the Liverpool job, of that I have no doubt, he just needs to learn his trade and make mistakes at other places 1st, absolutely smashed it up at rangers but that's not too impressive for me tbh. Although the way he's won it up there is impressive. Undefeated and 6 draws I think.

He always had that little bit extra as a player so I guess you're right in that he would bring that into his management.

Plus if imagine playing for him, you'd totally respect him due to his playing career from day one.

Yeh, I'm hoping it's not immediately after Klopp because I wouldnt a situation where we have to Frank lampard him.

But who knows how well hell do before that so It could be after Klopp.

It's a tragedy that this lad never had the chance to play for a top club

Desperate ****s

Proper embarrassing that. Played there for one ****ing season.

He was an amazing player tho, I see why they decided that him and Gerrard should go in at the same time, they were both incredible.

Post-War. There's 4 or 5 have more than him since the club was created, though.

I was gonna say maybe Brian Clough scored more but then remembered I'm a stupid **** and Brian spent all his time at Boro not Sunderland.

Or on paper of course.

This cos of Eric's bang average numbers Yeh?

Watched him live twice actually, Fulham and against arsenal at the Emirates.

Not that that means **** really, its not like I watched him for 90mins and ignored the rest of the game.

Or did I do it wrong? You'll have to tell me bro I don't go to many games <laugh>

Well you know, TV follows the ball.

If you're there, you see the whole picture.

But it's all just the same of course, and largely just a bunch of stats anyway, so you'll have a really good insight into all these premier league legends without ever having had to see them in the flesh.
