If you think our season's bad, look at how many more games Everton needed to play to be three points behind us... please log in to view this image
With Harry wanting away to "win trophies!" one wonders if some of the other Spurs players are feeling guilty of performing crap to make him want to leave the sinking ship?
I know you've not had a good season at all, but this is the worst football and the worst results I've seen in my life as an Arsenal supporter. I've not known anything like it. Not even trying to rub it in, but the fact we've got to this stage of the season and we're still this close to you reflects so badly on you. Especially as you have better quality than we do in most positions. Europe or no Europe, it'd be criminal if this Arsenal side finishes ahead of you (which is no guarantee of course).
Yeah both teams are an absolute shambles. Spurs don’t have better quality than Arsenal in most positions imo. Both need a massive kick up the arse unless they want to spend the next 5-10 years battling for 7th spot
I think you do. I don't rate any of our players at all, bar a few of the younger ones. You definitely have more talent than we do across the board IMO. You were let down by Mourinho's bland tactics for most of the season and then you've got a bloke who is 4 years older than me in charge to deal with the aftermath of the ****show Mourinho left behind. But I agree with you on the last line - we both need to get our acts together and pronto. Am I confident? I've got no reason to be.
As things stand going into last game we are sat in 7th position qualifying for that new conference league ****sake no no no
We really don't a combined side would be close to 50/50 Kane and Son aside I am not sure you would want any of ours - cos lets be honest we don't!
Leicester will absolutely tank us. At home in front of the fans and with CL football to play for...there is no doubt in my mind. I think you'll scrape a win or at least a draw against Brighton at home while West Ham should beat Soton at home. Can't see Everton beating City away which means we'll almost certainly finish 8th below you and with no European football next season. I am more than happy with that as it should give Levy the kick in the teeth he's had coming for so many years. I'd also vastly prefer no Euro football over competing in the Conference League, which has fixtures and travel distances that make the Europa League look like a picnic but with none of the prize money. Gives the new manager a clear pre season to work with the squad and a week's rest between most games during the season. We need to rebuild from ground up and I think no Euro football is the best way to do that. It worked wonders for Leicester and Chelsea in recent years.
