Been looking through some of the posts after yesterdays game, knees jerking to the point that the A&E will be packed out today. If Quinn takes the advice of our not606 experts we are losing, or getting rid of Gordon Bardo would have been long gone Ned Titus would never have been here Anton would have been long gone Mensah a crock Elmo cant cross Henderson, well public enemy number 1 Muntari rubbish Richardson, well we all know about him Sess, over rated I read Steed, way past his best Zenden to old Oh and Bruce needs to go I read Poor old Gyan will have to be on top form! I suppose the comfort is that Quinn takes little notice, still spending his time outside those pubs.
syd thats 13 players to go, they're all ****, so that should leave us with 12 in the squad cant be arsed to see who they are, but hope we dont get many injuries? niall should return to ireland and enjoy his life and ellis short should just pocket all that money and piss off home instead of the pair of them hanging around sol giving up their time and investing millions for us ungrateful sods
And we should piss off out and get a life away from football forums talking about young men in shorts, with nice legs and flash cars, gell on their hair, not Bardo mind, cant see him with gel.
Hope you are looking after Ned Have you played him in his best position(centre half) yet? Kolo Toure and Lescott make him look like Bobby Moore
Any chance we can recall a few on loan? Nozinho? "Pie man Reid"? "Super Striker" Healy - maybe resign Murphy, Stokes etc????
Now listen, this is a SAFC board, for local (Sunderland) people !!!!!! Morning Ballin how's it going today - did you manage to get a feed/signal for the game yesterday? Reading some of the comments from our overseas contributors I'm concerned that some may have got the wrong impression from the TV commentary. We started well but then fell off and the injuries to a fair number of probable starters hurt us in our ability to change tactically I thought.
Hi Rokerlad! It's impossible for me to watch the 5:30 games, cos they start at 8:30 our time, on a Saturday night, and the pub I watch games in is packed by that time, was annoyed they moved the time. Still, more tv ããã for the club I guess.
Personally I don't give a monkeys about TV money - spoiled the game (imho) for a) the ordinary fan, pricing them out of watching the match, taking their family b) the number of games being switched away from 3 o'clock Sat ko's - spoilt routine, late changes ruining/costing away fans cash c) the wages being paid to average footballers d) the...well I could go on ranting for a significant time, so I'll leave it there as my blood pressure would keep on rising and it's not good for me. Sorry you didn't get the chance to see it - just realised this puts you and BC together in that you both didn't see the match - bet you never wanted to be "with him"!! Fantastic start to the game and for 20 mins we played them off the park with "olays" ringing round the SoL but we didn't score again and kill them off. Muntari home debut showed promise of good stuff to come (in patches) and Sess looks to be adapting, so hope is rising.
Cheers Rokerlad. I did see the Stoke game, we scored two excellent goals, they scored three rubbish ones. It seems we show quality in brief periods, by next season we should be able to regularly play well for 90 minutes.
