People always blame religion. This **** has nothing to do with religion; it’s about land, power, and resources. Same as it was in the 11th Century when the Crusaders took Jerusalem. Same as it was in the 1st Century AD when the Romans destroys city brick by brick. Religion does act as a useful recruiting tool for unscrupulous leaders, it’s always handy if you can tell the troops God is on their side. But this war is the same as every other war; one side wants what the other side has. The powerful abuse the powerless.

My little understanding of what's going on....
Jews (Israel) are trying to displace the Muslims (Palestinians) what would be known as ethnic cleansing. This is done by removing the latter from their homes and Israelis settling there instead.
As a result rockets were sent in from Gaza, which is a Palestinian territory into targets within Israel. However, Israel has some technology that intercepts a majority of those attacks.
In return Israel blitz Palestinian territory, with great precision but one that kills civilians. Israel claim that the civilians are killed because the Palestinian 'terrorists' as supposedly seen by Western leaders, hide in the civilian population. That's their claim not mine.
Israel send a message where the next retaliation is going to hit, before that they send what is called a 'soft knock.'
There has been over 1,500 rockets launched by Gaza, only about 10% get through, everyone of Israels many attacks strike. Israel have also moved tanks to the front line.
Jews and Muslims do live together in Israel but civil war has virtually started on the streets, with one side often beating the senseless shhite out of the other.

i don't really know why this latest one has kicked off, last week i was reading about deaths by a stampede at some festival, then all of a sudden, within days they are lobbing rockets at each other. from what i can gather, something happened about not letting some attend a holy festival, but letting the other side in, and saying some utter bollox about covid rules.
then it's just gone haywire, idf gonna start a ground war it seems, ffs it will be a massacre. time the yanks etc stepped in to stop it, but we all know they won't, as they have their own agendas.
