Bruce getting the message?

It’s obviously relevant. Rafa got 13th with a net gain against other clubs spending money. Brucie got 13th spending £100M net against other clubs spending money. Direct comparison to net spend and the Clubs being competed against.

Fail to recognise that and there is no point to these discussions.

He may have got your job done but he didn’t get my job done.

We don’t know who brought Jones in as Bruce has said it both ways. But if it gives you any comfort then yes we have improved since Jones was appointed.

Relevant to what? Not to me saying Bruce's done ok in the it isn't you've just staeted the rafa comparison stuff.

The football since Jones has come in has been much better than early in the season.

Early on we got results playing crap football and now and the fans were saying they'd rather lose 4-3.. We're now getting results and you've all started saying so what we were crap inbetween

Basically you've sunk your claws in

I want a better manager! I wanted him out, but I'm giving the man the credit he deserves... He kept us up and the fans were adamant he'd take us down unless sacked after Brighton.... They were wrong... Correct?



I got it right in December tbh.

We've definitely improved.. Lost 2 in the last 9 and beaten Everton, West ham, Leicester, Southampton and then points from Liverpool and Tottenham, so what's the problem now? Is a top manager desperate to come in?

They are doing better than us, yet Bruce shouldn't be criticised?

Steve Bruce has done ok in the end, last season he finished 13th would've been fine if it was rafa.

This season he brought in Jones and saved the situation and I credit him for that because that has proved to be good management.

I would prefer a new manager under new owners, but at this precise time results and performances are good. Correct?

I'm quite simply giving credit where its due just like I've given him **** when he's messed up..

What's the problem there??

He's not great, but he's done far better than nufc fans thought they just don't have the decency to just say as much.

It's not a case of saying Bruce's done a fantastic job it's just a case of saying fair play for the job he's done.

I don't get it tbh the football and results have been decent since Jones came in, so what's the problem now? It's basically because they want to win a 2 year old argument rather than just enjoy the upturn in performance.

That's not true we finished both seasons well it was close, but rafa didn't have a disease in the training ground and didn't lose Rondon Perez and Almiron for 8 weeks in a season there was more fixture congestion.

I wish the fans would stop bullshitting and just come out and say the truth! The truth being that they hated Steve bruce from day 1 and there's nothing he can do to change their mind...lol.. Just say **** him get him out and leave it there, but the justification is all bullshit and I don't require it.

It's not funny with the smokescreen
 
To be fair if Rafa had spent the money Bruce has and had us performing as we had the last two seasons despite points gained and position in the table i would say he was failing.

Its all well and good staying up but there are fundamental failings with Bruce's time in charge that show it is just a matter of time before it happens. Anyone who watched us these last two seasons apart from some good runs of form would tell you the points we have are decieving, how often did we actually run out worthy winners?

You can only remain 20th in the league for all the stats we have at points under bruce for so long before we drop.

Perfectly true. We hovered around 15th and then had a purple patch February/ March. We were never in danger.

Bruce this season we always looked like we could drop into the relegation zone.

Bruce is a ****. Hated him from day one. He's a waste of space, a bastard of a person and a **** manager.

I would also add that with Rafa you at least knew there was a game plan and decent coaching with Bruce it looks like the team has managed to pull through despite him not because of him.
