Warky, just out of interest, which Town left wingers would you put ahead of him from the last twenty years?
For us (and I don't mean this in any order) I'd say Dale Gordon, Darren Eadie and Dave Phillips would all have given Huckerby a real run for his money. For me, Eadie was the best of the lot, but because of injury, he never got the chance to fulfil that huge potential.

My All time East Anglian XI

    Kevin Keelan
    George Burley
    Mick Mills
    Russell Osman
    Terry Butcher
    John Wark
    Mike Phelan
    Arnold Muhren
    Frans Thjssen
    Paul Mariner
    Chris Sutton

Lots to choose from like Bowen, Culverhouse, Eadie, Bruce, Beattie, Hunter, Whymark, Dyer, Stringer, Chris Woods

Perhaps we could do a seperate Post to run on both boards that will keep us arguing the toss for a good while! <ok>

Surprised there's no Woods (Clive variety) or Gates JWM. Who would manage? Sir Bobby?

This could be worth a thread of it's own JWM

Trouble is Maestro that there are so many players that would be worthy that I can't fit them all in!

I think we would all agree that Sir Bobby would be the manager I don't think even you Budgies would dispute that choice.

I have even missed out players like Viljoen, David Johnson, Jeremy Goss, Dale Gordon & Ruel Fox!

No arguments from me on the choice of manager mate.
One glaring omission though.....why is there no Trevor Putnet? <yikes>

    Ah yes the double agents!

Trevor Putney, Keith Birtschin, John Deehan, Andy Marshall - None of them are worthy

Don't forget Johnny Miller. Still remember him scoring against Man ure in the very early 70s.

Same as Maestro I would 100% agree with Terry Butcher but would think Watson would be ahead of Russell Osman but not much in it.

I could possibly include Ian Crook in place of Mike Phelan

Got to admit, I quite like the sound of Butcher and Watson. Would be a damned good centre half partnership. <ok>
