Do you know who said this peter?

“If I am ever asked, on the streets of London, or in any other venue, public or private, to produce my ID card as evidence that I am who I say I am, when I have done nothing wrong and when I am simply ambling along and breathing God's fresh air like any other freeborn Englishman, then I will take that card out of my wallet and physically eat it in the presence of whatever emanation of the state has demanded that I produce it.”

I'm against a France style " papers please" mandatory identity card where you need to carry it around 24 hours a day in case police ask you.

This is not the same as showing photo ID to hire a car or proof of age to enter a pub .

I had 5 polling cards come through my door and I could have picked any name and told the staff my address and they would have accepted my word that I am that person .

As we have seen in Peterborough Tower Hamlets etc unscrupulous people will fraudulently abuse the current system so voting in person with photo ID is the most secure method for a clean election.

Saying bame people are too thick to own passports or driving licence is just more bigotry of low expectations from the left here and in America.

What ID cards mean to persons of ethnicity is different to born and bred honkies. In Britain, if you are white, it is assumed that you are from here and therefore far less likely to be challenged to provide proof but if you are of colour The Community will insist that demanding proof of identity is only asked for because of racism and unconscious bias. It's bad enough the Five-O asking Mohammed for ID during a stop and search but imagine extending this to every post office, bank, box office etc.

I see nothing wrong with expecting voters to turn up with proof of who they are, it would stop unscrupulous people nicking all the voting forms from their neighbours and using them to falsely elect officials.

Same with no access cards for parcels, any c.unt could have picked up the card and chanced it at the post office. Asking for proof that you are the person the card and delivery was intended for is entirely logical. I don't know if the tweet from Invicta Regina was a WUM, I certainly hope so but would not be surprised if it isn't.

More authoritarianism from Johnson's junta.

The **** is hell bent on destroying everything it means to be British. Punishing the many for the sins of a few is right out of the Dictators handbook, why folk lap this pish up is why the country is being goose-stepped into a dystopian hell-hole.

If he tries to force us to use vaccine passports then he can go **** himself most occupied EUROPEAN countries have mandatory I D which double up for free movement and so far we have resisted these.

As far as photo ID to vote then I'm in favour of it , perhaps lowering the price of passports would be a good idea.

Sounds like it's another in the Attenborough mould.

Seaspiracy: Netflix documentary accused of misrepresentation by participants

NGOs and experts quoted in film say it contains ‘misleading’ claims, erroneous statistics and out-of-context interviews

I have to say, having seen the interview, it was not taken out of context.

However the main point is this:

It should have been called Conspirasea.
