After a long hard season, the last round was nothing more than a victory lap, or so it seemed, but a last-minute surge by Riever very nearly crapped over BOTN chips…but he held on…so, roll the red carpet, open the Champagne and start up the band for this year’s winner BOTN…well done that man, fully deserved. Honourable mention for Riever who made a competition of it and nearly came through.
Meanwhile in a place where angels fear to tread, we have Charlie who collected this year’s wooden spoon. There’s a saying “it’s the taking part that counts”… I say that’s bollocks, Ha’way Charlie, next year we need to see you at the top end. Not sure who has the bragging rites to the Cumbrian Mafia, but no doubt we will hear soon.
