City snatched a last minute equliaser to relegate Rotherham and alter the Prediction League table at the last minute!

  • Neither @BluefromBridgend or @danablu can narrow the gap (although BFB was close!) so that means that @william5551 is the 20/21 Division I Champion! <cracker> A 2nd title caps his revival from the relegation two years ago and follows up last years Div II title. <applause>
  • Commiserations to @FrankfurterBlue, who can't find the required points, and continues his Rotherham-esque yo-yo existance (Promoted & relegated for the last 4 seasons). This of course means that Sheep survives!
  • Last day drama in a topsy turvey 2nd Division, as Marlon Pack delivers 4 points for @irishbluebird, who comes from 7th place to snatch the title from right under @Rumney Bluebird's nose! <yikes> A 2nd Div II title and a straight return to the top tier for Irish, who last topped the division in November!
  • It's also a bad day for @mustyfrog, who was recently top, but after 2 points for @ccfcremotesupport and the handing out of full house BP's, sees him drop out of the Playoffs <wah>
  • A smarting Rumney will face Playoff Specialist @Oldsparkey and Remote will battle @DaiJones in next weeks clashes. <ok>

Following last nights first round of Playoff ties:

@Rumney Bluebird 2 - 3 @Oldsparkey
Mystic Sparkey is the only one of our 4 predictors to back a Bournemouth win, along with another point for Ayew's goal, to establish himself a narrow lead at the half way stage over Rumney. Rumney's two points come from Ayews opener at Oakwell - who will come out the winner on Saturday?

This tie is yet to spark into life - Remote fails to take advantage of Dai's lack of scorers and both fire blanks. Hoping for better on Saturday! <laugh>

The results from the semi-finals:

@Rumney Bluebird 7 - 8 @Oldsparkey
Despite taking the lead following Brentford's win, Rumney can't find enough points to overcome a resurgent (4pts) Sparky in the final leg, meaning that Sparks secures another shot at an escape from Div II in the final!

@ccfcremotesupport 9 - 5 @DaiJones
No points at half time but clearly both Remote & Dai were saving themselves for the last two legs <laugh> Remote's 4 points at the Brentford Community Stadium is outdone by Dai's 5 but Remote powers on with another 5 from the Swans game to floor Dai's chance of a return to the Top Tier.

Bad luck for Dai & Rumney <wah> The 20/21 Playoff Final will be:
