I personally love the FA cup. I was ****ing infuriated when we played a weakened side at Chelsea last season even though the league was done and dusted. Thing is though, when did a top six side have a parade for winning the Cup? I cant remember if we did in 2006. Me personally, I'd love to win the cup again. If we got draws like City in the early rounds, we may have had a chance.
Got to say though, I'd rather win the UEFA than the FA cup. Dunno if you plan a parade for winning it this year, but I would. Love that cup.

Did Arsenal? Maybe they've won it so many times in recent years they can't be arsed. Or that it's a sign of how far they've fallen that an FA Cup win doesn't have the same fan excitement as 15-20 years ago.

I know mate, i have seen Jimmy on your board talking about Virgil "pinging" (hoofing) the ball to the fast guys, iy is a great loss to you.
We had a parade in '71 when Arsenal beat us in the final. We didn't have one for even winning the league till 73, as I remember. Think that was for winning the first European trophy, and 76 and 77 too. Cant remember us ever having a parade for solely winning the league. We didn't in 1990, iirc. We did in 92 when we won the FA cup though.
Say what you will about that, but dont deny that Virgil, just like Rio for you all those years ago, can pass like Hoddle but from a CB position. That's to be applauded, not decried as hoofball.
