Haha, for that to be serious in anyway, he'd have to have made a clear suggestion that should storm the ground.

I think the most he's ever said is "Make ye voices 'errrd"
Really?

So you can't incite something without actually directly asking for say a riot?

U sure?

i agree with the protests, and admire the utd fans, but once you start slashing copper, it's a whole new ball game.

That’s the problem with these things. It only takes one or a small number or people to do something stupid and the whole issue gets clouded

The Police do it all the time after public order offences. Mug shots will go up and the police will seek to identify and prosecute those that they can. But I agree it will probably only be a handful of the most disruptive protesters.

And yeah I wasn’t suggesting that Utd should be punished either, just commenting on the fact that they did the right thing to postpone the game. There wasn’t a lot else they could have done to prevent what happened today.

I wouldn't be surprised if half of those there have never been to a game. I imagine they all got together on social media and the local kids were bored ****less on a bank holiday - so thought fook it, let's go join the protest at OT. Afterall if I supported my club, why the fook would I go on the pitch when we all know it's out of bounds, and then go lay on top of the nets, what sort of protest is that. It's more akin to the aftermath at Wembley of England v Scotland, a bunch of fooking scrotes. <whistle>

Defo would have attracted those just looking for a ruck. And as I just mentioned to Comm, once you get a few dickheads causing carnage, it compromises the cause that most of the protesters would have been there for.
