I can only speak as a neutral to all this fiasco, but I'm sure most lower league fans, who don't follow a Prem Club, like me, will tell you we've seen this game being stolen since 1992. I can even remember myself speaking about the Spurs ground which cost a £Billion, this sort of money don't come from 'normal' football, whatever that maybe. I would joke, you'll be bust in 10 years or you've sold your soul to American NFL. That's just one example, but we could probably find similar circumstances with the big six. Especially those with new grounds, you left the fans behind, and bought into a game, that many of your average fans can't even afford. Even Roy Keene himself aptly named it, the prawn sandwich brigade, due to SKY you all slowly but surely walked into pressing the self destruct button to be the best.

I read earlier this week that the PL would like to “roll” the current TV rights over, rather than renegotiate when the contracts come up for renewal. This benefits no one other than the current broadcasters and the PL. If they had the integrity they tried to claim they had after the ESL debacle, they would have been open to a negotiation which may have benefitted the lower leagues in some way. As I said at the time, crocodile tears and faux indignation from the likes of a certain Mr Neville who is currently, along with his mates, trying to buy there way through the lower leagues with Salford. A complete charlatan who is part of the problem IMO.

If Everton were involved, then the WSL would be starting in September. Let’s just look at facts, the one club from the original 7 that pushed for the PL to be formed...not involved.

trust me.

the PL has been brilliant for football, plus it’s not a closed shop. So every one of the 92 have a chance of millions.

Pretty much all the clubs outside of the PL live day to day trying to manage there clubs finances, such is the disparity between the money available to them verses the PL.

they want to roll over the TV contracts as they think an auction will bring in less dosh and i fail to see how less money benefits the lower leagues .

If they had been genuine about saving football a couple of weeks ago, they would have been open to negotiations which may have included representation from the lower leagues.
Sorry, but I think you’re naive if you think this is anything other than protecting the PL. My understanding was that the PL have been indicating that they want to contribute less to the lower leagues irrespective of the value of the new TV deals. This agenda was / is being pushed by clubs such as the one you support?

United fans leading the way as usual.

Well, to be expected really.

Scousers just happy not to see their team getting battered.

Take a guess bro. You're one of the smartest most cleverest guise on here right?

Just asking coz the press coverage of Liverpool fans bricking opposition team coaches and breaking lockdown rules that the rest of us were obseving (after the title was confirmed) seemed pretty fair and factual to me ... you can only play the "poor us" card so many times ... <ok>

you appeared to be linking the PL clubs aim of rolling over the existing TV auction to the lower league clubs getting more money and i fail to see any link .
No way do i think the PL open to giving more money to the other divisions as they are far more worried by their own finances .
I think you are naive to be surprised a group of foreign investors with hundreds of millions invested give a flying **** about the football pyramid and not realise that a chunk of the opposition by other PL clubs could be interpreted as self interest masquerading as principles .
