It’s cheating. Never a yellow in a month of sundays. VAR or cheating. The people making the decisions need investigating.
It wasn't even a foul man he's clearly took the ball. This follow through nonsense needs put in the bin unless it's dangerous/high. It's a contact sport supposedly
Because the team on the wrong end is always someone like us or Southampton, not 1 of the teams the media give a toss about
Let’s say a VAR official informs a “friend” a red card in the first half for Southampton. Stick £1k on. Boom!
He's obviously deemed to have been out of control and that's actually the rule, but we had son get away with worse just because he cried and the media backed him The foul on Wilson vs Palace at St James was a potential career ending tackle yet bar were like Yeah yellows fine. They're just making it up as they go along
Seems it was for not letting him. Scores and having the audacity to tackle him The Premier League have confirmed with BBC Sport the red card was for denial of a goal scoring opportunity.
Absolutely ridiculous decision. I assume the ref thought he missed the ball and gave the free kick and that var can't overturn a free kick, so they said on then he's off for denying a goal scoring opportunity?
They need to stop this what VAR can and can't decide. Just have the VAR idiot watch the full game and when an obvious error is made give the ref a ring. In the meantime, let the game flow. Don't stop to draw lines on people, just use it for obvious mistakes
It's got worse all season.. This is exactly the type of thing var should be for.. A big game changing decision.
It’s a disgrace. Football is broken: he got the ball and then his follow through about .5 later he catches vardy. Then he doesn’t even consult VAR. Football is broken. Last week you said about the one on longstaff. No intent. I get it’s a grey area. This one..... wtf? He intended to get the ball. He got the ball. He didn’t intend to touch vardy. VAR is match fixing.
