Match Preview;
Funny isn't it...just found myself wondering if we were back after an international break as it feels it has been so long since we last played. Actually only been a week, but that is the first time we have had a week break since the international break at the end of March, and before that the beginning of February was the last time we had a week or more between games.
Stoke go into this game 13th in the league, having not won since the 2nd of April. In that time they have lost three and drawn two. Nick Powell (12 goals) and Steven Fletcher (9 goals) are their top scorers. With two games to go, and not much to play for, the only motivation for these last two games are for both clubs to try and finish as high as possible in the league. That said, two wins could see Stoke leapfrog us, and potentially finish as high as 9th, or at least move above Luton, who still have to play Boro and us. Two losses, and they could drop to 16th (unless some of the teams below them are playing each other, but don't have time to look that up.) It is still possible for us to finish 8th with two wins, and two losses and we could drop to 13th. I'm not certain what the financial difference is between those finishing places, but all in all I think it is clear...there isn't a huge to play for other than pride.
Team news
QPR: Luke Amos and Charlie Owens are side lined with long-term knee injuries, while Geoff Cameron is a doubt.
Stoke City: Tyrese Campbell and Nathan Collins are out, while Joe Allen, James Chester and James McClean will probably miss out.
Enjoy one and all, and as always...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
