FT Reading 2 Swans 2.
Meltdown on the local radio. 1-0 up and Reading would win play offs and would be a prem team. 2-1 and the players weren’t good enough. <laugh> Deluded freaks.

So can we now have the financial meltdown of Reading......how they've got away with spending so much more than their income over the past number of years is beyond me......

Quote from Fakes manager" (and i've added my own comments on at the end)
Reading manager Veljko Paunovic speaking to Sky Sports: "I believe there is nothing to comfort our disappointment today - but there are positives.

"Even though we didn't secure our goal, we gave it our all and we proved that once again today.

"Everyone has to acknowledge the hard work and be proud of the group this year.

"The improvement is huge this season. We have a team, we have a style, we are playing the game properly and an identity is forged."

I thought I would add "We have also over spent for the last few seasons so expect to see us hit with a fine or points deduction next season. We may also be hit with a transfer ban however please feel free to make a bid for our players."

I posted recently regarding their FFP problems... at one time I think they had 300% outgoings but may have dropped to 220% <yikes>
They are also in debt with a £40m loss. Players out of contract.
I can imagine it may be a tough time for them next season. They gambled big and lost.
TBH I don’t like Reading ( due to them copying everything QPR) and I don’t like to see any club go through financial problems but the league must be consistent with these FFP rules.

So let’s see the strength of feeling around the Super League. Last semi final was two of the giants super league bullshit ****ers against each other, this one features a team who I am certain were asked to join in but didn’t, PSG, against Citeh, the last team to join and the first to bail.

Both of these clubs are now entirely made of plastic, nothing original, authentic or ‘legacy’ about them. In the past PSG have represented everything bad about modern football to me. But I hope they win tonight and the second leg and then beat whoever they play in the final. I detest Neymar but I quite like Pochettino.

Given their owners there has to be a play on words to describe the game......El Sheikhio perhaps or Oil Barrons Ball......

Thinking caps on........

And to be honest absolutely no interest in who wins........

Dosh Derby?
Mega Rich New Firm?
Clash of the ****s?

Don't really matter, I won't be watching. Had enough of both the PL and Champions/Europa League and only watch EFL - it's why I'm so ****e at the prediction league now (well, that's my excuse anyway)

I hope City win.

Seem to recall Kieran Maguire from Price of Football naming this the Abu Derby.......

I don't care much for any of the four teams left in the C.L. Three nouveau riche (City, Chelsea and PSG) and Real Madrid who are run by Florentino Perez who started off paying mega bucks to the Galacticos.

Love to see all four of them and the other eight clubs involved in the ESL receive a 2 year ban from the C.L. Teach them all a lesson.
