And I sent him an apology. That is banter and to the poster and not about a family member. Look we will go going around in circles on this. Will has apologised and I have moved on. It's time for you minions to do the same.
Anyway back to Boris... I have just heard that the 2-3 people that supposedly heard him say those alleged words are not going to swear/confirm it in writing. They have obviously had a change of heart.
If I hadn’t said metaphorically yeah it would have been full blown out of order, I thought by stating a metaphor there was no level of suggesting it was meant in any personal way at all, some have taken it that way that’s their prerogative, I will be more sensitive and have apologised. Maybe it’s the new orange? A phrase still banded about on here. I digress, so Johnson has repeated in the pmqs that he didn’t make those comments... if these sources are to step forward.. what next? He will have been found to lie to parliament.. I’d be amazed if all of these media outlets were to have made these claims without being able to back them up.
He categorically denied it in the House which is a 'resign-able offence' if he has been deemed to be telling porkies. So I guess he didn't say it, or the 2-3 people that said he did have been gagged.
Apparently Labour are worried about the Hartlepool by election on the 6th May because they voted in Jezza and it seems they will be voting out Starmer.
That’s a shame. Labour should try telling them exactly what they want to hear and not worry so much about actually delivering on that.
Thats the problem as stated last night by a life long Labour voter who is now voting Tory. He said "Labour has taken them for granted and don't invest in the constituency". He went on to say "in the local Tory constituencies they are getting funding". Even the Guardian reported that it's no longer a safe seat.
I think everyone is well aware it’s not a safe seat given the Tories were favourites to win at least last time I checked. I’m not sure you should be celebrating the government allocating funds to areas they want to target for wins rather than the areas that most need them as they’ve blatantly done with the Covid recovery funding.
I also think local Labour councils are a disaster with funds. Sorry Watford but we don't live there. The people of hartlepool know what's happening. It's been deprived for years even under Labour. It needs change and investment.
